Thanks wimpunk, that did help - now we have the ability to mount directories
that are on
the big box using nfs from the TS-7600.
Our next confusion is to identify which precompiled kernel image we should put
in our
remote debian directory so that we can nfsboot to that directory and be running
debian.
We have the debian Sarge from Technologic unpacked in an exported directory,
but no
kernel image was in the tarball.
The overall purpose is to have use of some features that debian has that
TS-Linux does
not include, specifically posix threads.
At the end of the day we will want to follow the procedure outlined here:
http://www.seiner.com/ts7000/index.php/Booting%20to%20SDCard
to set up booting to the SD card.
Surely this is something that is already done somewhere - or perhaps I have the
wrong
view of these kernel images....
