1- I don't understad the question. Can you explain it a little more? Do you want to copy a TS7300 board?
2- I don't know
3- Yes and Yes
4- You really need a RTOS? embeddedarm has one running on TS7300, check the webpage
5- Check the TS7300 manual
6- I already used a 2*40 LCD, anything with the same interface will work. There's a sample code for a 4*20 LCD
7- uclinux is for processors without MMU... in our case we have MMU so you can use a normal Linux. Debian footprint has a size of 250 MB but you can cut it. embeddedarm also uses a linux using busybox and the footprint is 4MB? 8MB? something like that. All the features you can install. No realtime without a RTOS.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT??????????? on what? Debian? uclinux? Have you heard OpenSource?
If you are asking about the technical support for the TSxxx it is EXCELENT.

Hi everybody,

TS-7300 board looks very cool. I want to purchase one for my embedded
Linux study. I am totally new to Linux and Embedded Linux. (I am using
Microsoft VC++, Windows and programming on dsPIC, TI-TMS320F28xx
micro-controller series). I have some questions:

1- In TS-7300, there is a FPGA chip. In my own design board base on
TS-7300 may I exclude this chip from my design?

2- Is it possible to debug TS-7300 real time using a host PC running
on Windows XP?

3- Is there any GUI IDE tool to write and debug code? (free and
commercial products)

4- I want to use TS-7300 for my industrial real time application.
Which realtime OS should I use with TS-7300?

5- Does TS-7300 support CAN communication?

6- Which LCD panel I should use with TS-7300? Is there any sample code
for LCD outout?

7- uCLinux is popular ported Linux OS for embedded systems. What is
different between Debian Linux and uCLinux in terms of memory foot
print, features, real time, technical support?

Many thanks,
Cuong,
