Hello Don,

I checked /etc/passwd and the account for myuser
points to /home/myuser.
Also, myuser is a member of the myuser group,
which is present in /etc/group.

I also tried playing around with the directory it points
to, without success at login back with myuser.

SCP could be a second solution, but its not part of the platform too.
I'll see what i can do to install it.
I could also write my own transfer program...but i'd really
like to get that user acount + ftp problem solved.
