You might also try scp. My favorite tool is rsync over ssh. I would be
nice to have that work out of the box as well.  Not sure why you
are having problems creating a user account. sounds like you did it
correctly. Try checking /etc/passwd to make sure your home directory is
listed correctly. Don.

and nothing for password, it fails.

So, i created a new account called 'myuser' with adduser.
But the home directory for the new account was not created!
When i try to log to a console with 'myuser', it says:
login: cannot cd to home directory or /

I also tried to add the 'myuser' home directory by myself, using
mkdir /home/myuser
chown myuser /home/myuser
chgrp myuser /home/myuser
chmod 755 /home/myuser
But it did not log again.

Could someone please tell me how do you upload your own programs to a
TS-7400 dev board through ftp? Is there a tricky config i'm missing?
I would really like to get something working on that board soon! :)
