Yeah, if you don't do anything, the default bitstream loads an ethernet
adapter, VGA, SDCard, and a bunch of serial ports. I believe TS
includes drivers in their Debian port for all of these.

Yeah, you can run gdb in a console window on the PC via serial port or
ethernet.

You need a GUI? Use XEmacs. =)
GCC is a command line compiler.... there's lots of free GUI editors
around if you don't have one already.

O/S's available for it, look on Technologic Systems website.
