Hi all!

I haven't found anything specific in the archives and I'm pretty new
to the hardware end of things, so please bear that in mind. :)

I have a TS-7400 and am trying to build an RS232 adaptor using a
MAX232CPE, 5 1uF electrolytic caps, and a DB9 connector. Note that my
application works fine using the 9441 kit.

I have disabled gettys on the port I want (/dev/ttyAM0), and have the
following connections (all on the 26-pin header):

TS-7400 MAX232 DB9
Pin 3 (GND) Pin 15 Pin 5
Pin 15 (+5VDC) Pin 16 -
Pin 7 Pin 11 -
Pin 8 Pin 12 -
- Pin 13 Pin 3
- Pin 14 Pin 2

Caps are hooked up as per the MAX232 data sheet; I've checked that a
million times (including polarity).

The DB9 connector has pins 7 and 8 shorted together, and 4 and 6
shorted together.

I've searched through the text doc and the Linux on ARM docs, but
haven't yet found any bits I would need to flip for this. Can anybody
see what I've done wrong?

I can post images etc. if needed.

Thanks for any help! This board seems like a great little unit so far.
