Hi Joe,

The ts9 kernel compiles fine under Debian 3.1 sarge.

I'm testing with the TS-7200 + TS-7KV + and a 512MB CF card.

The reason why I was getting confused with the versions is that I've
noticed the following:

A) If I format the CF card with Debian 3.1, and load the Debian 3.0
filesystem (tar file provided by TS), then the system complains
about needing to upgrade fsck and e2fsk. Debian 3.0 uses fsck
version 1.27 and Debian 3.1 uses 1.37.

If I use the Debian 3.1 filesystem provided by TS, it doesn't
complain about the fsck version, but it then fails to load the ts9
kernel modules. The /lib/modules directory contains the ts10 kernel
modules.

This leads me to believe TS only supports the TS-7KV with a ts9
kernel with Debian 3.0 filesystem. Then, I just need to format the
CF card using Debian Woody, instead of Sarge.

B) The system "always" performs an integrity test on the CF card.
This delays the boot time. It says the filesystem has not been
checked for over 49,000 days. Let me know if you have suggestions on
how to work around it.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks,

-Eduardo
