Ok, I'll go back to using the ts9 kernel on Debian 3.0. I'm able to 
recompile the kernel on Cygwin, but I haven't been able to recompile 
it on Debian 3.1 with any of the Linux crosstools provided by TS. 
I'm in the process of setting up a Debian 3.0 environment.

I'll let you know how it goes...
