Ok, I see you are also working on Modbus. I have some modbus code based on a project I did years ago to convert a proprietary protocol to modbus since the manufacturer of a software package would not do a modbus driver. It is C++ based, but I was planning to convert it to C with a C++ wrapper. I will also be doing a bridge so that you can connect local serial devices and then access them over the network, thus turning an SBC running Linux into a modbus TCP/IP - modbus serial bridge. Of course you could do the opposite and access a modbus TCP/IP device anywhere on the network from a locally attached modbus serial master device. I will be looking at the modbus code you have. Thanks,
Don.
