Hope this helps... I'm also in the process of updating the kernel as
a test. I'll first try to load it via tftp and executing with a "go"
command before rewriting the flash. I'll let you know how it goes.
I'm replacing it with the version I downloaded from
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ts-7000/files/ts8_1021Hz.tar.bz2
