Talking about the case, it is a great case, but you should have it so
that both the front and back stay when you take off the cover so you
could cut a hole (or holes) in the back and route ribbon cables or
other things out the back to connect to I/O, etc. I actually cut a
notch in the top of the cover for the ribbon cables to come out and
attach to the LCD, keypad, and I/O.

Right now, the cover is 4 sides, so, since you can't route things out
the bottom, and the front is tied up with comm ports, power, usb,
there is not place to route I/O cables. Cutting a notch in font of the
cover is good enough for prototypes, but not much else.

It would also be nice to have something that is DIN rail mountable,
and DIN rail mountable terminal blocks that could be connected via
ribbon cables to the onboard I/O.

Well, I know you can't be all things to all people, but the design
could be improved to allow a little flexibility.

Think about leaving the back of the case available (3 sided cover) for
routing cables out on the TS-7300 case.

Is there such a thing as an SD extender cable?

Don.
