You should log into the yahoo groups website, and then you can search all of the old messages. On the LCD and keypad, they have example code at the TS website, though I am working on an api that is more friendly to use and does not expose you to all of the details that you don't need to know.

And, you should use Linux for the development platfom. I can't help you much with Windows since I have not used it for over 4 years, but you will probably only have to set a path to the exes, and learn how to use gcc, which, for the arm is called "arm-linux-gcc". You should also learn to use "make".

You can also log in via telnet. The default IP should be 192.168.0.50. Set your XP box to a fixed IP such as 192.168.0.5, and connect the two with a crossover cable.

Not sure what is happening with your terminal, you probably need to set the parameters correctly.

I recently purchased a TS-7260 and have a few questions that I am having trouble finding the answer to, I am new to not only this board but using robotics in general.  I am using Hyper Terminal on Windows XP to comunicate with the board, and I have installed cygwin for the toolchain to work on Windows.  However, I can connect to the board and all of the start up messages appear on screen and it gets to the login prompt.  Though when I try to type in root to log in it types very slowly, and when I press enter to log in it doesn't log in the cursor just goes to the start of the line.

Also, I am trying to get the toolchain to work and I have un-tared it under cygwin, though I don't know how to use the applications or what applications  I need to run for the toolchain.  I am also wondering if there is any sample code to check that the LCD montior and Keypad work, and if so where would I get them and how would I get them to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
