Hi Dave, I am trying to log on form the Ethernet port and have exactly the same initialisation done, when the console is set to /dev/ttyAM0. I want to run /dev/ttyAM0 with a different baudrate setting, and connect to a serial device. I have commented out the lines in inittab, or modified them from respawn to runonce. I noticed that this makes a difference in the way my application runs in that I can not insmod certain modules. Which is why I am asking this question. How about this question, maybe you can help here. On which startup script should I modify the default eth0 address?. I would like to add ifconfig eth0 x.x.x.x Thanks!.
