I think I've sorted this by removing JP2 and commenting out the ttyAM0
getty respawn in inittab.
However when I connect a modem on ttyAM0 the board sometimes hangs. I
cannot access the command line either locally or remotely, which means
I can't issue either a REBOOT or SHUTDOWN -H NOW. I'm then forced to
power off the board and reformat and install the debian image on the
compact flash (again).
This is similiar to the problem discribed in message 1270. Was this
resolved?
Thanks,
Lee
