Yes , I guess I wasn't too clear, but I can not log in as root over
the serial port. I personally don't remember giving the system a root
password, but I think it was given one because we were doing initial
Ad-Hoc wireless testing with the beast and didn't want to leave it
mostly unlocked over wireless.
I wonder if they got changed after I left. That would be annoying. Too
bad because I would love to recover the state on it as well, what we
came up with for getting the wireless to work and such.
I hope I can figure out how to get into the USB key.
I wonder if Redboot can do something in this case...to eliminate just
the root password off of the root file system.
I guess it seems silly to hack into something I own. I suppose I will
just blank it.
