Hello all,

I have a problem when reinstall kernel for TS7250 using my toolchain.

I use kernel 2.4.26-vrs1-cirrus-1-2-1-ts8 from TS. Toolchain contains GCC
3.4.3, Binutils 2.15 and uClibc 0.9.27.
Kernel is configured by using ts7250 found at arch/arm/def-configs/
directory in kernel archive. Reinstalling has been done successfully without
error and it results kernel image (zImage) in kernel root dir.

Then, i load this image using tftp. The following is snapshot when kernel
loading:

RedBoot(tm) bootstrap and debug environment [ROMRAM]
Non-certified release, version current-TS_5 - built 16:49:40, Mar 1 2005

Platform: TS-7250 Board (ARM920T) Rev A

^C
RedBoot> load -r -b 0x00218000 -h 10.0.0.77 zImage
Using default protocol (TFTP)
Raw file loaded 0x00218000-0x002b2dcf, assumed entry at 0x00218000
RedBoot> exec -c "console=ttyAM0,115200 ip=dhcp
nfsroot=10.0.0.77:/nfsroot/targetarm"
Using base address 0x00218000 and length 0x0009add0
Uncompressing Linux............................................ done,
booting the kernel.

1. Kernel reports "unrecognize tag " (found at
linux-24/arch/arm/kernel/setup.c) and then i only have 8MB RAM. Is it
because i'm missing something in kernel configuration regarded to TS7250
board?
2. Why i can't passing booting parameter from redboot (see Kernel command
line above, it doesn't change with value i passed to redboot command)?
Default kernel parameter looks like be hardcoded into image and it is always
used even if i pass different parameter into kernel.

Anyone can help?
