No many applications think that a v4l2 (or v4l) driver is a tuner or a device
to view TV. So in v4l2, i have not implemented some ioctl like tuner or
standart because i don't do PAL, NTSC, SECAM ...

For others applications, ...
 - gnomemeeting (or the pwlib) i don't know where the problem is. Sometimes
i've the image, sometimes i've only a green screen. And this package is hell
to debug (at least for me).
 - xawtv: this is written by the author of v4l2 api, so it works ... only if
i don't activate extension from the v4l2 specs.
