I've asked for further details. Note that on that page they refer to the Ol=
ympus LS-7. That recorder allows for timed daily recordings.=0D

I'm guessing they mean "silicone" rather than "silicon". One is a polymer. =
The other is a particularly hard mineral.=0D

Please do let us know what the authors say. I'm curious if their silicone t=
reatment reached the diaphragm, or if they were spraying it on the outside =
of a filter material like the ones that were mentioned earlier in this thre=
ad. Given the number of photos they put in the document, I wish they had a =
picture for the silicone treatment, too.=0D
