Peter,

There are two reasons I have not tried to go that route. One, the battery c=
ompartment door on the LS-7 would make it difficult. Much easier on the LS-=
11 or the PCM-M10. Two, It will run out of memory, even with a 32GB card (t=
he maximum specified for the recorder), long before it runs out of juice. A=
t least that's how the numbers look. I haven't actually tried it yet! Also,=
 if the external power bank does quit prematurely, the recorder automatical=
ly switches to the internal batteries, so there's a bit of backup there.
