where you want it. For wildlife the only way to get 5 discrete sound source= s is to combine tracks recorded separately. With wildlife, you could collect= these sources in mono to be panned in the mixdown, but stereo tracks could= also be mixed into any two of the five channels for best effect. Put simply, you can't record 5.0 or 5.1 in one go because you can't get fiv= e clean separate tracks at the same time at the same location. Unless you close mic each bird. :-) David Brinicombe |
