Most people don't expect the subtle addition of the height channels to =0D add as profound of an immersive effect as it does. At first, when you =0D turn them on, they seem to add little to the experience. But when you =0D turn them off again, it's like you suddenly became enclosed with an =0D oppressive roof overhead--it's at least a little disturbing.=0D =0D --SteveSgt=0D =0D =0D I will attest to this phenomenon based on Steve's demonstration at the NSS= Workshop last summer. Even in a noisy, semi-suitable room the high channel= was subtly apparent. It might not be practical to set up a 4m height chann= el in all environments but it sure adds to the immersive experience.=0D =0D --greg w=0D |
