Unfortunately, a quick google search shows that anthropophony is a term that has already been associated with the study of the human vocal sounds. To use it in the context of other man-made sounds might cause confusion. Homophony, which seems another obvious choice, is also gone (a musical term). Maybe back to the drawing board (or anthropogenic noise)? Maybe technophony is the more appropriated term? |
