Actually, your posted audio tests were one of the deciding factors in purch=
asing this mic, Magn=FAs ;-) I agree that reading specs does not usually te=
ll me the whole story of how a given mic will perform for my specific needs=
. There is something about the sonic character of the BP4025's self noise w=
hich makes it much more transparent than others of similar noise rating. Wh=
o knows...could be voodoo. =0D
