A related question... For the last few years I've been using Sony PCM-M10 recorders with Sound Pr= ofessionals 9V battery boxes for PIP power (for EM172 and WL-183 mics). I'm now aiming to simplify my setup for lighter travel. I seem to recall th= at some of the Olympus LS-series recorders provide enough PIP voltage to ge= t these mics into their best performance range.
