It requires a large buffer memory, costing $$ and power. You won't find it in consumer-level products because consumers aren't asking for it. A Sound Devices 702 has the pre-record buffer you want, and can be remote controlled so you wouldn't have to look at it. $1,975.00 list. Disclosure: I am a Sound Devices dealer. -Dan |
