boundary effects work with all sorts of microphones. the effect depends on = how close the capsule is to the surface. an inch away is too far - you will= have comb filtering in the audible range. I am thinking that replacing the internal capsules is one way of getting lo= wer noise. I have experience only with the zoom H2n but replacing th origin= al ten mm capsules=A0 with 4=A0 tsb 140 14 mm capsule made big difference. umashankar On Tuesday, October 22, 2013 7:07 PM, Aaron L.
