Since we're already talking about expensive microphones with the Sennheisers, 
it might be worth looking into an alternative which has already done the work 
of making the physical arrangement of the capsules coincident. I believe this 
is around $3500. If specs are to be believed, it's about 8dB quieter than the 
MKH series. I've not heard it but it has garnered some very favorable reviews. 
Anybody had their hands on this Nevaton yet?
