Plewa/Kleczkowski used phantom images in an anechoic chamber, so I don't th=
ink that study is very applicable to the real world. Focusing on phantom im=
ages and real images could be quite different.
Hugonnet and Jouhaneau '87 is available as a pdf (scanned) from the AES for=
