Thanks.  Yes, the iRIG comes with a 9V 'transistor' battery like you'd use =
in your smoke detector.

One question - I notice that when I turn on the battery switch on the K6/ME=
66 a red LED just blinks once and goes off.  Is that OK?  Doesn't stay on s=
olid to save juice maybe?

Still waiting for a male-female XLR cable.  May visit Radio Shack today so =
I don't miss all the action in the backyard.
