New file at SoundCloud. I have been trying to record this "mysterious" call for 30 years. Even though you can hear it at some 200 meters away, perhaps more, it is the kind of sound that does not get much louder, the closer you come. Here, at Telinga, I hear this call 3-4 times / year, lasting about a minute each time. So one has to put the mics out and records hours and hour= s. Question: What kind of call is this? A male being excited? Aggression call? Klas Telinga Microphones, Botarbo, S-748 96 Tobo, Sweden. Phone & fax int + 295 310 01 email: website: www.telinga.com |
