Re: newbie gear question - mics for binaural recording

Hi,

I have been using the soundmans a lot, I find them to work well for
recording concerts or loud nature soundscapes (tropical forest, bird
choruses). When there is wind or otherwise high noise floor I recommend
using something else, although I have never tried using wind shields.
Also, they should be placed in your ears while recording, so the sound
you are recording needs to be at least as loud as your breathing ;)
