David Secomb's marvellous recordings of south-western WA waterbirds (recorded witn a Fostex FR-2LE) have prompted me to ask about an issue I've been dealing with for a while, as I know here are also other Fostex users on this list. I've recently had problems using Transcend 133x compact flash cards which I've been using since 2009. I was eventually able to transfer some data from one card via recovery software. The software reported bad sectors on the card. I've since tested another card and it has the same problem. So has anyone else experienced such problems with Transcend CF cards? What cards are being used successfully? John Campbell |
