I have used NT-1A in a NOS-setup and I hav never experienced a gap in the middle. This recording was made in a wooden land close to Hvaleyrarvatn south of Hafnarfjordur in Iceland on May 24 2011. http://hljod.blog.is/users/df/hljod/files/04_hvellur_hrossagaukur.mp3 Here is another one recorded closer to a small lake earlier this morning. http://hljod.blog.is/users/df/hljod/files/umhverfi_vatnsbakkans.mp3 Your comments would be more than welcome. I have also tried NT-2A in an AB-setup: http://hljod.blog.is/users/df/hljod/files/morgunstund_a_golfvelli_seinni_hl= u ti.mp3 The Rode mics come with a reasonable shockmount which is strongly recommended. All the best. Arnthor Helgason |
