Hello, Peter.
I have been speculating over this myself.
Considering the first recording in the summer house, it is only a small one=
,
some 50 squaremeters. The appartmenthouse is much bigger, 4 floors and
probably some 500 squaremeters. On the first floor there is a lot of
mechanism to spread the heated water around the pibes. Due to some stuffs i=
n
the geothermal water it is used to warm up cold water. The heated water is
then delivered around the pibes. When I have tried to find a quiet place in
the house for microphone tests, this mechanism is always disturbing. Even
though we do not hear it with our ears, the mics pick the noise up and it
gets more gross in the silence of the night.
All the best.
