I was the one sitting opposite of you across the table. I should have intro=
duced myself properly...
The plugin inputs on the r26 is indeed noisier than the best pip inputs (4d=
b worse than Sony M10). But the pip ins are not at all bad.
The built in mics otoh are pretty bad. I'm looking at modding mine with  bo=
th alternative mic capsules and additional connectors to be able to access =
all six channels externally.
I already said I would do that on here, but I just have been to busy and I =
don't want to trash it while doing it so my warranty won't expire.

If I'd known you were curious I'd have bought it yesterday.
