Good news: Looks like Roland Tech Support's estimate of 4 hours' runtime w= hen recording with phantom power is a conservative figure. A fellow posting as Yates7592 on the Tapers Section website reports getting= 9 hours of phantom powered recording from Lithium AA cells, and 6 hours fr= om NiMH rechargeables. Recorder: Roland R-26 Mics: 2 x Nevaton MCE-400, rated current draw 10mA each mic 24/96 recording SanDisk 32GB SDHC (Class 4) card 4 x Energizer Ultimate Lithiums - 9 hrs 5 mins 4 x Energizer Rechargeable 2300mAh Ni-Mh - 6 hrs 20 mins.
