Bernie,
I was just going by the authors' own words, "To our knowledge, there are no=
 published studies addressing the impact of mid-frequency anthropogenic noi=
se on baleen whales, where the frequency ranges produced by the sound sourc=
e and the animals do not overlap."

I know there is already lots of information out there surrounding effects o=
f anthropogenic noise on cetaceans - I can thank you and the Nature Sounds =
Society workshops for pointing some of that out to me.
