Hi Gordon,

I find your comment very insightful and helpful.
In the same way as every style of art has its characteristics, there should=
 be a consensus about or at least a common approach to the characteristics =
of the art of nature sound recording.
It would make the discussion clearer and easier without inciting trench war=
fare.
There are so few of us that dealing with ideologies should not be on our ag=
enda.
