Does anyone know= s about this cable. This can be done as a 6-conductor "snake" cable make with two separately sh= ielded pairs bundled together inside a single jacket, or by intentionally m= isusing a star-quad cable with two pairs and a common shield. The latter ap= proach is lighter. In either case the channels can be split with a Y-splice at each end to 3-p= in XLRs, or for more flexibility but more weight, wired with the standard 5= -pin XLRs, with 5-pin to two 3-pin Y-adaptors for each end. -Dan |
