Louie Psihoyos - who won an Oscar for The Cove - is currently working on a = major production with a focus on wildlife sound using DSD technology - 'som= ething that's never been done with film before, almost like 3D sound,' acco= rding to Psihoyos. http://www.filmmakermagazine.com/news/2011/10/louie-psihoyos-and-the-singin= g-planet/ The film is due for release in 2013. Sounds like an amazing project. Does anyone happen to know what DSD technology is? |
