It's a super-cardioid, sorry I got mixed up.

Regarding the noise, there was a detailed discussion about the
measurements in the micbuilders mailing list:

On the topic of resistance to humidity, people use the NT1a  with
success, though the latter a cheaper microphone.

In fact, I was hoping to find an actual user here on the list.
