greetings all, i'm finally making an upgrade. currently i own the Fostex FR2LE...it was th= e best piece of gear i could afford for field and ambience recordings years= ago, and it has been a great little recorder. however, i find it a little = large to carry around at times and have noticed the improvement of smaller,= handheld stereo recorders of late. any suggestions? i need something with very quiet noise floor, built-in mic= s, and preferably under $500. don't care so much if it has XLR inputs. quiet. portable. stereo. under $500. cheers! jeremy |
