I am after some advice on what I could get to replace my Remembird.
I have been using a Remembird for about four years and have hundreds of rec=
ordings. I normally use WavePad to amplify the recordings on my Mac and us=
e them for my own reference also for when I run training courses or lecture=
s to show people that the CD recordings you can get out there are not the s=
ounds that all birds make. Oh these recordings for just for birds. So I a=
m off overseas in a few months and wanted to take something with me that is=
more powerful and easier to listen to all the recordings I have made witho=
ut having to take my laptop with me.
I have seen a Roland R-05 Wave/MP3 Recorder for =A3170 and would then need =
to get a microphone as well. Firstly is this Roland R-05 any good and if s=
o what sort of microphone do people suggest I get. I am looking at spendin=
g up =A3300 on a mic. Or is there a better option out there for me. Oh yes=
I take lots of optical and camera gear with me so I am not looking at taki=
ng a load of extra stuff with me.
Also I don't remove any background noise and wanted to know if anyone else =
out there using a Mac does this and what software they use?
Thanks for any advice
