Hi Marinos

personally I would look for a used Sound Devices MixPre. Great analog piece
of hardware - it's really quiet, has a lot of gain, is built like a tank. I
had one and was in love with it. I sold it last summer, in mint condition,
for 450 euros (only because I switched to a SD 702).
