Thanks for the comments all. At this point I'm leaning toward getting the
Sony one again - it fits on the recorder well without blocking the screen at
all.
No doubt a vain hope that the Rycote would perform better - perhaps the
magical english fur? Their softies are a mainstay for many recordists of
course, but can't provide much wind resistance given that there's no dead
air space.
