t Date: Tue Oct 26, 2010 7:33 am ((PDT)) I have a rode NT4, I like it, but its not great for ambient=A0recording at= all,=A0you need a really good sound source to get a decent recording with g= ood levels. It is warm and sweet though in its sound. I use mine for thunder an= d the louder bird songs like the song sparrow or winter wren. Self noise is up ar= ound 15 - i believe. tks Mark =A0Mark A.
