It's recorded using my iPod Touch and the Blue Mikey I posted about a week
or so ago. Gain was raised about 6dB (guesstimate since it doesn't actually
show the amount but it will amplify a maximum of 10dB and I was at about 60=
%
so...).
The iPod and Miley are mounted on my tripod in a PVC suspension tube I buil=
t
using ideas gleaned from posts here and covered with faux fur. See photo on
SoundCloud post.
There's some equalization on the recording (also using tips from here) to
remove some background noise. There's a reverb of sorts in the recordings
which I found to be from my PVC mount, I will have to trim some of the uppe=
r
ring off to avoid this in the future.
