Hi All,
This recording was a bit of a lucky catch. I'd had the mics set up in the
recording location for about an hour and had mainly managed to record wind
buffeting the mics. Just as I turned off the recorder I heard this flock
approaching so I hit record. Luckily the 5 second pre-roll buffer caught the
sounds of the flock approaching!
The recording was made shortly after sunrise on 10th September 2010 in the
dunes surrounding Lake Mungo in Southwest New South Wales.

The recording gear was a SBRS (sass-like rig), AT3032 and Sound Devices 722.
cheers
Paul
