Soundfield ST350

After extensive testing of the Double MS system from schoeps and the soundf=
ield ST350 surround microphone I decided to plunge for the soundfield. I sp=
oke with Chris Watson and he agrees that the schoeps is too unpredictable i=
n inclement weather and potential dust storms you find in deserts. I have u=
sed double MS for a few years now piggybacking an mkh-8040 on top of the mk=
h-40/30 system, but because of its awkwardness, I have decided to spend a f=
ortune on the soundfield ST350 system. I have upcoming projects in Borneo i=
n November with a 3 week shoot, if anyone wishes to know more and hear some=
samples of how the soundfield ST350 preforms, let me know... Noisier than=
the sennheiser mics, the quality, space and flexibility of the B format si=
gnal is amazing and beats anything I have ever heard. I think it's all to d=
o with the absence of any phase errors which any spaced capsule system can =
suffer from.
