As a user of the DMS format for surround recording, but owning an AMS250 ri=
g
as well, I am getting swayed towards trying out B- format again in the
field.
Regarding B- format recordings, what cheap and or free programmes are there
to extract the discrete stems?
I think that the Soundfield VST programme is very over-priced for a plug in
programme.

Hi Martyn--
I hope the new mic(s) work out for you and I do hope you make and
effort to share recordings in a surround format that everyone can
listen to without firing-up editing apps with Ambisonic plug
patching. DTS encoding using VideoLan Player and AAC encoding with
QuickTime seemed to work.
Among the many, amazing error-less options, a mix for 5.0 or 5.1
speaker layout would be great for those us who also need our front
speakers set up at 60 degrees for good ol' stereo playback. :-) Rob D.
